Hutcherson Center

The home of Wayland Baptist University basketball and volleyball teams, Hutcherson Center is located on the western side of the Wayland campus.

The 3,000-seat facility was named in honor of the late Claude E. Hutcherson, a major donor to the building and sponsor of the Flying Queens basketball program for more than 50 years.

The building has undergone major renovations in recent years to the outer facade, lobby and concession areas. T

wo new state-of-the-art scoreboards were also installed, and most recently, the training room has been enlarged and updated.

WBU's athletic offices are housed in Hutcherson Center.
